Community Guidelines

PlamoBase is a place for people who build and admire plastic models and figures to share their work comfortably. These rules help everyone feel safe here. When in doubt, ask yourself: does this respect the person who made it, and would it upset someone who sees it?

Posts we love

  • Skin painting and texture work on bishoujo kits and figures (gradients and shading techniques are very welcome)
  • Conversions, kitbashing (combining several kits) and full scratch builds
  • Garage kits and 3D-printed builds
  • Work in progress and stories of things that didn't go well (sharing "here's where I messed up" helps others)
  • Photos of licensed kits (characters or mecha from anime, games, films, etc.) that you assembled or painted yourself
  • Photos of kit boxes taken as a purchase record (e.g. backlog updates)

Skin work on bishoujo kits and figures is fine in itself. If you're unsure, check whether the composition, title or description deliberately emphasizes sexual parts.

Please don't post

  • Adult content, or photos and text that deliberately emphasize sexual parts
  • Sexualized edits or depictions of real people (celebrities or private individuals)
  • Copies or unauthorized reposts of box art, instruction manuals or other people's photos of their work
  • Harassment or abuse, or exposing other people's work or personal information to attack them
  • Promotion for reselling (announcing scalped items, linking to resale listings, etc.)
  • Impersonating other users, manufacturers, shops or anyone else

Photos and rights

  • Photos of licensed kits you assembled or painted yourself are fine to post.
  • Box photos taken as a purchase record are OK. Please don't post scans of box art or manuals, or official images in place of your own work.
  • To introduce someone else's work, repost or quote their post instead of saving and re-uploading the photos.

How we handle violations

  1. You report a post, comment or user
  2. Our team reviews it
  3. We hide it, warn or suspend as needed
  • You can report from the menu on a build, comment or user page. The person you report is not notified.
  • Our team reviews the report. If we find a violation, we may hide the post, issue a warning or suspend the account.
  • Clearly malicious content may lead to suspension without warning.
